Success of the first hospital in Mandalay encouraged us to launch a second hospital in the capital of Shan State, Taunggyi, in 1997. It was first opened with 25 beds and currently, it has the capacity of 75 beds. Orignally founded as Mandalar Hospital Taunggyi, it is rebranded as Myat Taw Win Hospital in 2014 after the completion of a new building equipped with modern equipment and technologies. This is part of modernisation process of Family Mandalar's healthcare division. Myat Taw Win Hospital is now recognised to be one of the premier healthcare centres across the Shan State and in Upper Myanmar, offering many services which other hospitals cannot offer within Shan State itself.
